Support the project
phpRS is free, has no ads and no paid “pro” version. It will stay that way. To keep going in the long term, the project needs people who find it worth a few euros a month.
One-time or regular, and you can cancel at any time. The payment is processed by GitHub; it takes no fee from contributions made by individuals.
What the contributions pay for
- Security fixes – a quick response to reported bugs, and releases that install themselves on the sites.
- Maintenance – new versions of PHP and databases, tests, compatibility with hosting providers.
- Documentation and translations – Czech, English, German.
- Operation – the domain, hosting of the website and the demo, the update server.
There are other ways to help
- Report a bug. A well-described bug is worth more than many a contribution.
- Fix a translation or an unclear passage in the documentation.
- Tell us how you use phpRS. Real sites decide what gets developed next.
- Mention the project to someone who is looking for a content management system.
What you do not get for your support
No extra features, no priority queue, no logo forced onto other people's sites. phpRS is the same for everyone. Support is a thank-you and a bet that the system will still exist in five years – not a purchase.
